Entry is simple - either enter online (below) or entry forms can also be picked up from a variety of locations across Scotland from early February including, libraries, charities, health centres, supermarkets and leisure centres or by writing to CCG Capital House, Bankhead Crossway South, Edinburgh EH11 4EP for an entry form or by calling 0131 2733019 / 0208 977 1378.
Entries can be taken online from now until a week before the event online with a late entry desk also open on the day. We are encouraging all ages to walk, and will particularly encourage team entries and workplace walkers.
Once you have made your entry we will acknowledge your walk application within seven days and you will receive your entry form, walk number, joining instructions, map and sponsorship form in 2008. Team Entries can be selected on postal entries with all team members submitting their own entry forms, each completing the sections allocated for team name and team leader.
Walkers that enter the sponsored walks normally do so for charity. We are affiliated to many charities and a list of the charities is available on the website – but you can also work for you local school project or community project too if you like. Raising funds is easy either walk for your charity and send them the money raised from the event directly or send us the funds if you cant decide who to walk for and don't have a specific charity and we will incorporate it into the mascot fund and it will be dispersed to all of the affiliated charities in August 2008.
