The six mile walk draws visitors from across Scotland . It is a fun distance aimed at healthy exercise without over exertion. It is ideal for friends and family to complete. Suitable for all age ranges from tots in pushchairs to those of an older persuasion.
In past years office team have taken part from ADRA – Ending World Poverty, Marie Curie Nurses and Alzheimer Scotland , St Columba's Hospice and Capability Scotland. Water points are available along the route for walkers. For walkers that would like to take their pooches The Dogs Trust provided water bowls around the course and brought some of their own dogs who were looking for new homes;
Walkers taking part in the event can limber up by going through a few warm up exercises with the team from Pink Aerobics or just doing their stretches and loosen up under their own steam.
All along the route walkers will be cheered on and can draw enthusiasm from the lively atmosphere that the event generates.
