The Great Scottish Walk :: Roundup
The Great Scottish Walk
  Roundup

Many people feel empowered taking part in a sponsored walk or run event because it enables them to be active and at the same time raise money and awareness for their chosen charity or for a loved one.

This page not only mentions peoples comments about past walks but if you would like to add details of why you are walking this year please let us know and we would be happy to put up your details.

Also if you have a story to tell and want to highlight and raise its awareness we would be happy to hear from you and can pass this information on to sponsors and promoters.

Cherry-Ann Fraser, Scottish Water
I want to thank you for a fantastic event and I really enjoyed the walk around the parks in Glasgow - 12 mile walk. I was also delighted to win the first prize for the fancy dress competition from FD Events. I have raised £300-00 in total which I will be giving my chosen charity (Perthes Association), which they are excited about receiving. It was great to see so many people, all ages and walks of life just enjoying the day as one - All for charity. May I wish you all the best for the Edinburgh Walk! I will be back next year.
